Stop Seeking, Start Witnessing
What Is Being?
Beyond Identity to Our Shared Essence
I’ve wondered about this question ever since I was a kid — what does it mean to simply be?
Some deep intuition told me there was more beneath the surface.
This search led me to books, spiritual seeking, meditation, mystical experiences that revealed glimpses of being — those wordless tastes behind thoughts, the stillness within all motion.
Yet often I lose this thread, caught up in doing rather than being.
Recently, being called to me again through a powerful dream…I was on a spaceship with others, flying over many worlds and civilizations, yet destined for the same cosmic void — a black hole reaching everywhere and nowhere. We were one and we were all.
After waking, life itself echoed the dream. Huge shifts inside shook loose more old structures and identities.
What survived right after awakening was a silent presence holding my whole experience with compassion — being. It needs no justification, usefulness or results. Being simply is. The ever-present background to each fleeting moment.
Though destabilizing, dissolving what was false unveiled what was real. Fear screamed but i often heard “let go”…
